The hearing itself was rather anti-climactic. We had to confirm we were Royce and Tracy Day, then raise our right hands and swear that all the information we submitted was true. The Master said that she had reveiewed the information submitted, and determined us to be fit parents... that Georgia was obviously attached and doing well in her new family. (and she said she was so tall for 2 and a half!)... and that she would file the motion to change her name from Yang Qian Ya to Georgia Grace Qianya Day. And that was that!
